Training Club
Take your dog's basic training to the next level
If your dog already knows the basics…sit, down, a bit of recall, walking nicely (sometimes!)
But you want to take things further… Training Club is your next step.
Designed for dogs who’ve completed Puppy Club or basic training, this ongoing class helps you progress your training in practical, real-life situations. So your dog learns to listen, focus, and make great choices no matter where you are or what’s going on around you.
What is Training Club?
A 4 week course with weekly training classes that gives you continued support as your dog grows, matures, and meets new training challenges.
Over 4 weeks we'll develop your dog's skills:
Week 1 — Basics: Teach reliable cues your dog follows even when excited.
Week 2 — Calmness and boundaries: Help your dog stay calm in busy situations and learn good place/bed manners.
Week 3 — Self-control and manners: Improve impulse control to stop chasing, food-snatching, and jumping up.
Week 4 — Distractions: Practice around other dogs so your dog stays calm and focused.

How It Works
Training Club will run over 4 weeks, with weekly Satrurday morning training classes. You will also be able to join our real life training session which will be held on Tuesday evening ( additional charge) if you wish to progress your training outside of the class.
Here’s how the weekly sessions work:
Saturday Morning Sessions at Fur Field Dog Park
Time - 10 am
Duration - 1 hour
Each Saturday morning, we meet at Fur Field Dog Park in Sherburn in Elmet. Each month has a different theme of classes.
These sessions focus on building up your dog’s core skills in a safe, enclosed space.
You’ll work on practical skills like recall, lead walking, and focus games without the stress of outside distractions.
Perfect for:
✅ Practicing new exercises in a controlled environment
✅ Getting confident with your dog’s foundation skills
✅ Receiving hands-on coaching from me in a small group setting
Weekly Real-Life Training Locations
Locations Vary around East Leeds

On selected weeks, we’ll take training into real-life environments — local parks, village greens, local cafes or busier walking routes. These sessions help your dog practice staying calm and focused with more distractions around.
Perfect for:
✅ Transitioning skills from class to the real world
✅ Practicing walking past people/dogs
✅ Helping your dog listen when it really matters
You’ll be notified of upcoming session types and locations via WhatsApp and email so you can plan ahead and book the sessions that work for you.

That’s okay! Classes are kept small and supportive. You’ll never be forced to do anything your dog isn’t ready for, and I’ll help you find ways to build your dog’s confidence and focus at their own pace.

Yes! Teenage dogs often need ongoing guidance, and Good Dog Club is perfect for keeping their training on track. Rescue dogs with basic foundations who need real-life practice will benefit too — we train in a kind, supportive way with no pressure.
