Dog Club

Take your dog's basic training to the next level — with real-life practice, flexible sessions, and ongoing support.

If your dog already knows the basics — sit, down, a bit of recall, walking nicely (sometimes!) — but you want to take things further… Good Dog Club is your next step.

Designed for dogs who’ve completed Puppy Club or basic training, this ongoing class helps you progress your training in practical, real-life situations — so your dog learns to listen, focus, and make great choices no matter where you are or what’s going on around you.

What is Good Dog Club?

A rolling weekly training class that gives you continued support as your dog grows, matures, and meets new training challenges.

Each week, we’ll focus on specific real-world skills like:

  • Recall around distractions

  • Loose lead walking in busy areas

  • Greeting people calmly (no jumping!)

  • Settle and self-control in exciting environments

  • Responding to cues outdoors

  • Focus and engagement around dogs or people

How It Works

Good Dog Club is designed to help your dog take the skills they already know and apply them in the real world — with support, structure, and flexibility.

Here’s how the weekly sessions work:

Saturday Morning Sessions at Fur Field Dog Park

Time - 10:15 am

Duration - 1 hour

Each Saturday morning, we meet at Fur Field Dog Park in Sherburn in Elmet. These sessions focus on building up your dog’s core skills in a safe, enclosed space.
You’ll work on practical skills like recall, lead walking, and focus games without the stress of outside distractions.

Perfect for:
✅ Practicing new exercises in a controlled environment
✅ Getting confident with your dog’s foundation skills
✅ Receiving hands-on coaching from me in a small group setting

Weekly Real-Life Training Locations

Locations Vary around East Leeds

Duration - 1 hour

On selected weeks, we’ll take training into real-life environments — local parks, village greens, local cafes or busier walking routes. These sessions help your dog practice staying calm and focused with more distractions around.

Perfect for:
✅ Transitioning skills from class to the real world
✅ Practicing walking past people/dogs
✅ Helping your dog listen when it really matters

You’ll be notified of upcoming session types and locations via WhatsApp and email so you can plan ahead and book the sessions that work for you.
