Depending on the package you have purchased, you’ll be able to book the exact number of classes included in your package. Don’t worry if you don’t want to book all at once—you can always come back here and schedule more as we regularly update the class availability.
Please booking in advance to secure your spots, as classes fill up quickly!

Getting Ready for Your Puppy Classes
To set yourself and your puppy for your first puppy class here’s everything you need to know before attending class:
What to Bring:
Your puppy on a fixed-length lead, harness, and collar
Long training lead (if you have one) for practicing recall and other skills
A treat or dog walking bag to keep all your treats easy to access
Lots of treats (we suggest a variety to keep your puppy excited and focused)
A favorite toy for training games and breaks
A towel for cleaning your puppy if it gets wet or muddy
Weather-appropriate clothing for yourself (we’ll be outside, so make sure to dress warmly and bring a waterproof coat if needed!)
Preparing Your Puppy for Class
To help your puppy succeed in class, a little preparation at home goes a long way:
Feed them lightly before class. A full tummy can make training harder (and treats less exciting!).
Practice basic skills like "sit" or name recognition beforehand to get them focused.
Give them exercise before class, but not too much. We want them to be calm but still ready to learn!
Class Location & Arrival
Our classes are held at Furfield Dog Park, Sherburn in Elmet (LS25 5LX), located at Squires Café. When you arrive:
Drive straight past the car park, follow the road to the left, and you’ll see a yellow height restriction gate. Continue through the gate and down the track to the left to find the entrance to the dog park.
Important: Please wait in your car until I arrive to avoid disturbing other dogs, especially those who might be reactive or using the park before us.

Ask questions between sessions
Share progress and updates with other puppy parents
Get quick tips and advice directly from me
Stay in the loop with any class updates or changes
We love seeing your puppy’s progress, and it’s a great way to stay connected outside of class!
Here are a few extra tips to make sure you and your puppy have the best experience:
Be patient—puppies can get distracted or excited in new places, and that’s okay! We’ll work on managing these behaviors in class.
Don’t forget your positive mindset! Training is all about building a positive relationship, so we’ll make it fun for both you and your pup.
If your puppy is a little nervous or shy, let me know before the session. We’ll work at a pace that suits them.
