Just like every dog is unique, their training should be too. Whether you’re working on loose-lead walking, “selective hearing” the second you step outside, or all that jumping on everyone who comes into your home, training should feel simple and doable for you.

That is what I help dog parents with since 2017.

Dog Trainer - BSc (Hons) Canine And Feline Behaviour and Training

You might expect me to be a top agility campion or a ex police dog handler to have this role.

But that’s not my dog training roots.

My roots are from the desire to help first time dog owners navigate the complex world of dog training.

After 5 years if studying dog behaviour and welfare to earn my degree in Canine Behaviour and Training, I wanted to transfer this knowledge to make dog training simple and realistic for first time family dog owners.

This means all my training is rooted in your dogs welfare and wellbeing being at the front of what I do.

Not at all. Most “naughty” behaviour is just excitement, curiosity, or a dog who hasn’t learned the skill yet.
Common things I help with include:
- Jumping up at visitors
- Pulling on the lead / loose-lead walking
- Recall (coming back when called)
- Overexcitement on walks / around other dogs
- Calmness at home (settling on a bed, relaxing)
- Basic manners (wait, leave it, polite greetings)
It depends on your dog and the goal, but most families see progress quickly when they practise little and often. I’ll give you a simple plan so you know exactly what to work on between sessions.

You’ll get a confirmation email to let you know your entry has been received, and you’ll be entered into the raffle. If you opt in to updates, you’ll also get a few helpful tips and updates about training services.
The winner will be chosen at random on the date listed on the page/sign, and contacted by email. If I can’t reach the winner within a reasonable time, I’ll draw another winner.
